Adhesive backed silica tape is a slit silica tape constructed from 96% pure SiO2 silica fiber, coated one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that facilitates installation. The adhesive decomposes at high temperatures, leaving a perfectly tape-wrapped hose, cable or pipe.
This Adhesive backed silica tape is suitable for use at 1800°F (982°C), and able to withstand short term exposure up to 3000°F (1650°C), Adhesive backed silica tape sets the standard for flexibility and minimum lineal shrinkage under high heat conditions.
Width 20 mm to 1000 mm. Normal width is 2" ( 50 mm) and 4" (100 mm ). Customs width is available.
