1 Aluminum heat protection Self-wrapping sleeve with an adhesive closure is a special self-wrapping sleeve designed to provide thermal protection from both radiant and convective heat. It`s composed of a braided fiberglass and polyester base fabric. The product can  withstand convective heat soaks up to 200º C and simultaneously protect critical components from radiant has reflected heat.


2 The description is that the unique braided structure impacts a higher level of flexibility than in other sleeves. It also allows the product to maintain a circular profile when flexed.



3 The self-wrapping design allows for quick and easy installation with the addition of a self-sealing adhesive reinforcement that allows for permanent closure. The adhesive strip acts as a barrier to dirt and fluids while maintaining the full integrity of the finished aluminized sleeve.



4 Aluminum heat protection Self-wrapping sleeve with an adhesive closure is available in sizes from 2/5 " through 18,1/2 ".

1: This BSTFLEX Colored fiberglass exhaust pipe header turbo high temperature resistant heat wrap is heat, flame and fire resistant.  Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) woven tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1000°F / 520°C.

2: BSTFLEX Colored fiberglass exhaust pipe header turbo high temperature resistant heat wrap can be used to easily identify wiring, cables, hoses or pipes: such as supply or return lines.

3: Available colors are Gray, Red, Blue, White, Black, Nature, Yellow, and so on in 1" and 2" widths.  If additional colors are required, use of a plain fiberglass tape results in White being available.  By using the automotive header wrap tape, Black would also be available.

4: This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents.  It is flexible and conformable.

Durability is further enhanced with a proprietary hydro-carbon coating, giving Silicaflex firesleeves unmatched abrasion resistance and tensile strength.



Excellent high-heat performance
High temperature resistant high silica braided sleeve is a braided silica sleeve, constructed from a 96% pure SiO2 silica fiber, suitable for continuous use at 1800°F (982°C), and able to withstand short term exposure up to 3000°F (1650°C).



Extreme Temperature Expandable Braided Sleeving can be combined with other low cost sleeve products to increase insulation values or abrasion resistance for the most demanding applications.
