Ultra-heavy grade, high temperature resistant fabric, designed for use in severe molten splash applications in the primary metals industry.

Tough, durable and very versatile
Our heavy weight 96 OZ Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fire Blanket (3260 g/m2) is constructed from a glass fiber base fabric, coated one side only with a very thick layer of specially compounded silicone rubber that sheds molten splash almost instantly, before heat transfer can  occur.

High temperature, heat and flame resistant 96 OZ Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fire Blanket is the perfect choice for protecting a variety of hoses, lines, wires, cables and equipment assemblies such as electronic enclosures, valves, robotic arm and elbow protection, etc., from exposure to high and extreme heat conditions.

Withstands contaminants, high heat and flame
The silicone rubber coating is completely impervious to water, moisture, hydraulic oils. When exposed to high temperatures or molten splash for extended periods, the coating transforms into a silica refractory crust.

The special formulation of silicone rubber on this fabric sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination. This fireblanket also provides protection from ozone, UV and abrasion.

 It can be supplied in short cut lengths, customs shapes, or as fabricated curtains with grommets.

96 OZ Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fire Blanket withstands 500°F/260°C continuous exposure; Molten Splash at 2200°F/1205°C for periods up to 15 minutes and short excursions to 3000°F/1650°C.

This Header Manifold Blanket simply clips into place on the upper portion of the header. The fabric side of the material should be facing the heat source and can withstand direct heat up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit. The aluminized side, facing away, can handle radiant heat up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, offers protection from abrasion and harmful liquid spills. Great for wrapping cast iron and also for RV applications.

Aluminum Fiberglass Heat Reflective Sleeve  


Aluminum Fiberglass Heat Reflective Sleeve is a special self-wrapping sleeve designed to provide thermal protection from both radiant and convective heat.  It`s composed of a braided fiberglass and polyester base fabric. The product can  withstand convective heat soaks up to 200ยบ C and simultaneously protect  critical components from radiant has reflected heat.

The description is that the unique braided structure impacts a higher level of flexibility than in other sleeves. It also allows the product to maintain a circular profile when flexed.

The self-wrapping design allows for quick and easy installation with the addition of a self-sealing adhesive reinforcement that allows for permanent closure. The adhesive strip acts as a barrier to dirt and fluids while maintaining the full integrity of the finished aluminized sleeve.

Aluminum Fiberglass Heat Reflective Sleeve is available in sizes from 2/5 " through 18,1/2 ".

BSTFLEX COLORED FIBERGLASS HEAT RESISTANT EXHAUST HEADER WRAP

This Colored Fiberglass Heat Wrap is heat, flame and fire resistant. Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) woven tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1000°F / 520°C.



BSTFLEX COLORED FIBERGLASS HEAT RESISTANT EXHAUST HEADER WRAP can be used to easily identify wiring, cables, hoses or pipes: such as supply or return lines.



Fiberglass offers excellent heat resistance, retaining more than half of its room temperature tensile strength at 675°F / 357°C, and more than 25% at 875°F / 468°C. It begins to soften at 1500°F / 815°C and melts near 2050°F / 1121°C. Non-combustible and excellent thermal conductivity to dissipate hot spots; high resistance to chemicals and unaffected by UV light. This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents. It is flexible.
