BSTFLEX Glass fiber fire sleeve application

STEEL WORK / METAL SMELTING
Glass fiber fire sleeve with heavy silicone coatings have proved to be ideal for protecting cables and components from molten metal splash in the metal smelting industry. Fire sleeves are often used on induction melting furnace coils and hoses. 
 
AEROSPACE
Aerospace grade fire sleeves are available. These are resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils and fuels. The Aerospace grade fire sleeves version allows qualified hose assemblies to meet AS1055D testing under stated flow and pressure conditions.

Vermiculite Coated Ceramic Fiber Fabric

Vermiculite Coated Ceramic Fiber Fabric is a woven fabric made of our high quality ceramic fiber yarns and then coated with vermiculite. It can be used for high temperature applications up to 1000° C. The cloth is reinforced with fiberglass filament. It contains a certain amount of binder material which is normally burned at lower temperature and does not affect the insulation property. Vermiculite coating enhances the fabrics unmatched abrasion resistance and tensile strength. it also provide a dust suppression coating which allows for a safer work environment.
 
Vermiculite Coated Ceramic Fiber Fabric Application:
It can used as expansion joints, safety blankets, curtains, welding blankets, protective and insulating covers, shields, 
gaskets, cable or pipe wrapping, etc. It has been widely used in welding, foundry works, aluminum and steel mills, 
boiler insulation and seal, shipyards, refineries, power plants and chemical plants.
 
This Vermiculite Coated Ceramic Fiber Fabric has a very high vermiculite content (10 to 12%).

Ceramic Fiber Tape

Ceramic Fiber Tape is manufactured from high performance ceramic fiber yarns reinforced with either a wire or glass filament. These are produced on traditional textile machinery by carding high purity 1260 grade ceramic fibers with a percentage of cellulose fiber to assist in the processing. The yarns are then spun and combined with the relevant reinforcing media to improve the tensile strength at extended temperatures.
 
Indian Ceramic Webbing tape are woven in netted form made from Ceramic Yarn. Ceramic fiber insulation tapes are available in a variety of thickness from 2 - 6mm. The standard width of the Cloth is 25mm to 100mm.

BSTFLEX High Temperature Woven Silica Tape

This High Temperature Woven Silica Tape is made by silica fiber, contain more than 96% SiO2.
 
High Temperature Woven Silica Tape retain strength and flexibility in insulation applications at 1800° (982°C.) When spiral wrapped over pipes, hoses or cables, they offer protection against molten metal or extreme radiant heat. It is completely fireproof and with it's high silica (SiO2) content (96% minimum) it protects against contamination in high temperature environments. Silica tapes are available with pressure sensitive adhesive to facilitate wrapping installations. Upon exposure to the service temperatures that justify the selection of silica materials, the organic adhesive decomposes.

BSTFLEX Heat Treated Fiberglass Woven Tape

Heat Treated Fiberglass Woven Tape Description:
It is fabricated from high quality texturized C glass or E glass fiber yarns with heat treated that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1022F/550C.
It resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents.
It is an excellent substitute for asbestos tape.
Heat Treated Fiberglass Woven Tape with copper wire, nickel wire or stainless wire are also available.

BSTFLEX Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Tape

Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Tape will withstand temperatures of 1500°F / 815°C continuous exposure. The base High Temperature fiberglass tape is fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn.
 
Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Tape applications for this product include thermal insulation and/or protection of wires, cables, hoses, pipe and tube, as well as affording energy savings and personnel protection.
 
Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Tape compared to uncoated fiberglass, vermiculite coated fiberglass provides increased resistance to high temperature, flame, and abrasion. In addition, the vermiculite film helps to seal against gases and liquids. This tape is completely non-flammable.
